GeoGebra is a free and multi-platform dynamic mathematics software that joins geometry, algebra and calculus. It has received several international awards including the European and German educational software awards. On the one hand, GeoGebra is a dynamic geometry system. You can do constructions with points, vectors, segments, lines, conic sections as well as functions and change them dynamically afterwards. On the other hand, equations and coordinates can be entered directly. Thus, GeoGebra has the ability to deal with variables for numbers, vectors and points, finds derivatives and integrals of functions and offers commands like Root or Extremum. These two views are characteristic of GeoGebra: an expression in the algebra window corresponds to an object in the geometry window and vice versa.
Below is a FULLY FUNCTIONING version of GeoGebra! All the menus and tools work! Change the font sizes! Draw and measure segments and angles! Draw polygons! Go ahead and play around with it! If you double-click in the window, GeoGebra will open in a NEW window that you can save to your computer!

Really nice stuff. I am a big fan of GeoGebra . . . although I am more familiar with Sketchpad. I'm looking forward to learning more about GeoGebra from you throughout the year.
